Most people sit too long in the office, develop bad posture throughout the years or don’t have a habit of exercising, and all these slowly lead to shoulder, knee or back pain. All of us have had this kind of experiences before. With regular practice of Pilates movements, our body and mind can be improved. Pilates could be a solution for you.

What is Pilates?
Pilates is a method of exercise and physical movement designed to stretch, strengthen, and balance the whole body and mind. With systematic and regular practice of specific exercises coupled with focused breathing patterns, Pilates has proven itself effective for increased lung capacity, circulation, coordination, flexibility and strength, particularly of the abdomen and back muscles. Posture, balance, core strength, bone density and joint health can also be improved.

Is this suitable for me?
This is a beginner mat class for people with no previous Pilates experiences and want to increase body awareness, coordination, flexibility and strength. This class is open to both guys and girls.

Can I do this if I have a health condition?
If you have a condition like diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol, osteoporosis, past injuries etc., please check with your doctor and get clearance first.

What to bring?
-Water bottle with plenty of water
-Your happy face 🙂
